Express Entry Canada
Canada attracts many potential immigrants. Since January 2015, a digital selection system was designated to facilitate and speed up the processing of applications for permanent residence. Named Express Entry, the application process is required to pick the right applicants for various Canada's economic immigration programs.
What is Express Entry?
Express Entry is an electronic system created to process applications for permanent residence under 3 different Canadian immigration programs:
- the Federal Skilled Worker Program,
- the Federal Skilled Trades Program
- the Canadian Experience Class.
Applicants for permanent residence in Canada get a score and enter in the Entry Express pool (applicant database). Canadian employers can select people from that pool.
