Express Entry Canada: How To Migrate to Canada Through Express Entry

Express Entry Canada

Canada attracts many potential immigrants. Since January 2015, a digital selection system was designated to facilitate and speed up the processing of applications for permanent residence. Named Express Entry, the application process is required to pick the right applicants for various Canada's economic immigration programs.

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry is an electronic system created to process applications for permanent residence under 3 different Canadian immigration programs:

  • the Federal Skilled Worker Program,
  • the Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • the Canadian Experience Class.

Applicants for permanent residence in Canada get a score and enter in the Entry Express pool (applicant database). Canadian employers can select people from that pool.

Express Entry: a two-step process

Firstly, you need to be sure you meet the criteria to immigrate to Canada under the list of immigration programs, you need to use the webs tool Get to Canada.

Filling out an Express Entry profile

To fill your Express Entry profile, you can expect to first need carryout a MyCIC account. You may then get to complete the Express Entry form by giving important data including your education, work experience, and language.

Required Documents for Express Entry Application

Before you decide to fill your Express Entry profile. Make sure you have the following:

  • your passport or travel document,
  • your NOC (National Occupational Classification) job title and code,,
  • your language test results.

Determined by your circumstances, more information such as the educational credentials assessment results (ECA), may perhaps be required.

Registering with Job Bank

Upon getting submitted your web profile, you should register using the Government of Canada's Job Bank within 30 days. This action only is required to understand what actually has a job offer or even nomination to a province or territory.

The Express Entry pool of candidates

For everybody who is eligible, you look inside the Express Entry pool of candidates and you may get a score. Getting a top score means you have a propensity to be invited to apply for permanent residence. Remember you should if you want to profile but if your situation changes.

Applying for permanent residence in Canada

If you are accepted within the Express Entry pool, you will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence at any time. However, you will simply receive a party invitation if you should:

  • use a job offer in Canada,

  • are some of the top-ranked candidates.
